Merciful Mother and Father, hear my words
I am as a child rudely awakened from peaceful reverie
Shocked by the audacity of my enemies
Saddened by grief and burdened by sympathy for the loss of so many innocents
Ashamed that it all happened while I was on the wall between Harm's Way and Home
Help me bear the guilt
Help me stand again
Help me comfort those around me who are without hope, and ease their pain as best I can. God and Goddess of Righteousness and Justice, hear my words
I am angered that such violence has afflicted my home
Uncloud my mind of the red haze of hatred
Let me be an instrument of Just Retribution, not Blind Wrath
Enable my shoulders to bear the yoke of duty to come. Goddess of Rebirth and God of Renewal, hear my words
I have faith that you will be with us all as we rebuild
I have faith that we will succeed
I have faith that we will go on
